Battle of Ramsour's Mill 2013 Raffle Items

Many, many thanks to Mark Ewing for donating this southern style powder horn to the LCHA to raffle at the Battle of Ramsour's Mill Reenactment on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2013. The powder horn has a "beehive" style plug made from an Elm tree in Lincoln County. The tip is made of cow horn, and was turned in a traditional urn or vase shape. Mark Ewing made the horn, and Rick Sheets did the scrimshaw engravings. Raffle tickets are $1.00/each, and you can begin buying your raffle tickets on Monday, May 13.
